It is indeed a brown bat. It is brown and it is bat, so there you have it the ultimate revelation of the obvious. I was terrified of bats as a child, my older siblings and all of the neighbor kids believed that bats wanted to get in your hair and eat your hair. When they would get in your hair they would become so tangled that your mom or dad would need to shave your head to get them out.
